Introducing Linx Limpet
Our product development team have recently released a much anticipated update to our popular cable management spine to enable even faster installation and relocation when used with a steel frame desk.
Workspace installation teams are continually looking for ways to reduce installation times and cable management can often be fiddly and time consuming, working alongside IT departments to ensure power and data cables used with computer hardware are as tidy as possible. The new fixing removes the need for using fiddly allen/HEX keys or screws.
The Linx Limpet is a simple magnetic fixing that sticks to the steel cable tray or desk frame without the need for any tools. Previously Linx relied on a multipurpose fixing which is still available be used for non-metal cable trays, wire cable baskets or screwed to the underside of the desktop on wooden or MFC desk frames.
The Limpet fixing can be used on all Linx configurations for fixed height desks, height adjustable desks and for tray to tray cable management on back-to-back desk arrangements, like the Formetiq Alto 2 bench for example.
Cable spines are an easy way to tidy power and data cables, keeping the work surface clear and the surrounding area free from trip or snagging hazards. The Linx cable spine offers two high cable compartments (30mm x 25mm) for keeping power and data cables segregated meeting the requirements for the BS 6396 standard.
Linx can be easily adjusted to suit any height of fixed height desk or standing desk. The unique linking system allows the vertebrae to be detached through a simple twist motion and reconnected with a click. This system prevents the vertebrae from being pulled apart during installation or standing desk height adjustment. Linx is easy to extend and manipulate when needed.
The magnetic fixing also allows for easy relocation of the spines when workspaces are reconfigured or added to.
